Well, after answering the question many times I have figured out that the question is really meant to be "What can you do to help me?" Here is the answer in a nutshell…I can help you tackle the areas in your home or life that need to be organized so that you can function better. I love to create custom solutions for my clients. I recognize that everyone is different, so I will ask lots of questions to help create a system that works just for you.

There are a few myths about professional organizers, like - we are all neat freaks, or we make our clients follow stringent organizing rules, or even that we make our clients throw away all their stuff. These myths are simply untrue. A neat freak I am not, but I do have what I think is a very comfortable and well functioning home. My space works well for my family. A space that works is what I strive to create for my clients. As for the strict rules, typically there are only a few rules needed to keep a space maintained if the space has been set up to be simple and easy for the client! And when it comes to the stuff... getting organized does typically require the purging of stuff. I can't make you give up your stuff but I will encourage you to simplify and ask you thoughtful questions about your stuff to help you make decisions.
